What is the development process of wind power projects?

1. First of all, you should contact the local government. Generally speaking, it starts with the county government, or the county development and reform bureau or the investment promotion bureau. Now some counties with abundant wind resources have even set up special wind power development offices. From these departments, you can learn about the local wind resource status and the general attitude of local governments towards wind power development.

2. After reaching the cooperation intention, start to sign the development agreement and implement the wind measurement. If the wind measurement results show that the local wind resources have development value, it begins to enter the substantive stage – applying for project approval. Before applying, the pre-feasibility study report (referred to as pre-feasibility study) and feasibility study report (referred to as feasibility study) of the project must be completed.

3. Project approval is the most important and most troublesome step, and it needs to go to relevant departments of the provincial, municipal and county governments, including (but not limited to) the National Development and Reform Commission, the Bureau of Land and Resources, the Electric Power Bureau or the power grid company, the Forestry Bureau, etc. .

4. Finally get the project approval, you can start the construction.
