Why wind power

my country is rich in wind energy resources, and the exploitable wind energy reserves are about 1 billion kW, of which the onshore wind energy reserves are about 253 million kW (calculated from the height of 10m above the ground on land), and the offshore wind energy reserves that can be developed and utilized are about 750 million kW. A total of 1 billion kW. At the end of 2003, the installed capacity of electricity nationwide was about 567 million kW.

Wind is one of the pollution-free energy sources. And it is inexhaustible and inexhaustible. For coastal islands, grassland pastoral areas, mountainous areas and plateaus that lack water, fuel, and transportation, it is very suitable and promising to use wind power according to local conditions. Offshore wind power is an important field in the development of renewable energy, an important force to promote the technological progress and industrial upgrading of wind power, and an important measure to promote the adjustment of energy structure. my country is rich in offshore wind energy resources, and speeding up the construction of offshore wind power projects is of great significance for promoting the control of atmospheric haze in coastal areas, adjusting the energy structure and transforming the mode of economic development.

According to data released by the National Energy Administration on September 11, 2015, by the end of July 2015, 2 projects included in the offshore wind power development and construction plan have been completed and put into operation, with an installed capacity of 61,000 kilowatts, and 9 approved under construction with an installed capacity of 1.702 million kilowatts. , 6 approved to be built, with an installed capacity of 1.54 million kilowatts. This is far from the 44 projects with a total installed capacity of 10.53 million kilowatts planned by the National Energy Administration in the National Offshore Wind Power Development and Construction Plan (2014-2016) at the end of 2014. To this end, the National Energy Administration requires further efforts in the development and construction of offshore wind power and speed up the development of offshore wind power.
