Wide application of vertical axis wind turbine

Vertical axis wind turbines have been greatly developed in the wind power industry in recent years. The main reasons are their small size, beautiful appearance, and high power generation efficiency. However, it is very difficult to make vertical axis wind turbines. It needs to be based on customer requirements. The actual use environment is used to design calculations and make different configuration parameters. Only in this way can the cost be controlled and the wind energy conversion efficiency can be fully improved. Those manufacturers who sell the same machine all over the world are irresponsible.

Vertical axis wind turbines have no requirements for wind direction during operation, and do not need a wind system. Both the nacelle and gearbox can be placed on the ground, which is convenient for later maintenance and reduces the cost of use. Moreover, the noise during operation is very small. There is a problem of nuisance to the residents, and it is widely used in noise-sensitive areas such as urban public facilities, street lights, and residential buildings.

The electricity generated by wind turbines can be AC or DC, but DC generators have their limitations and are expensive to build, because the output current of DC generators must pass through the armature and carbon brushes. Long-term use will The abrasion requires frequent replacement of the source, and when the power exceeds the capacity of the armature and carbon brushes, sparks will be generated, which is easy to burn. Alternator is a direct three-phase line output current, avoiding the vulnerable parts of the DC generator, and can be made very large, so the wind generator generally adopts the design of the AC generator.

The principle of a wind turbine is to use the wind to drive the windmill blades to rotate, and then use a speed increaser to increase the speed of rotation to promote the generator to generate electricity. According to the current wind turbine technology, at a breeze speed (the degree of a breeze) of about three meters per second, electricity can be started.

Because the wind power is unstable, the output of the wind power generator is 13-25V alternating current, which must be rectified by the charger, and then the storage battery is charged, so that the electrical energy generated by the wind power generator becomes chemical energy. Then use an inverter power supply with a protection circuit to convert the chemical energy in the battery into AC 220V city power to ensure stable use.
